HONG KONG – An equipment fault caused train services to be disrupted along the The Mass Transit Railway's Tseung Kwan O Line on Monday morning.
The equipment fault occured on a train near Tseung Kwan O station between the MTR's LOHAS Park and Tseung Kwan O station at 9:18 am, according to the MTR's official website.

Free MTR shuttle bus service was operating en-route between Tiu Keng Leng station and Po Lam station / LOHAS Park station, and non-stop between LOHAS Park station and Tiu Keng Leng station, the MTR said
Train services between North Point station and Tiu Keng Leng station was opertated every 5 minutes, while those between Tiu Keng Leng station and Po Lam station / LOHAS Park station were suspended, the train operator said.

Free MTR shuttle bus service was operating en-route between Tiu Keng Leng station and Po Lam station / LOHAS Park station, and non-stop between LOHAS Park station and Tiu Keng Leng station , the company said.
MTR staff were carrying out repair work, said the company, advising commuters to consider using other transport.

Meanwhile, the Fire Services Department was conducting a rescue operation and assisting in the evacuation of members of the public at scene.
