HONG KONG – Hong Kong's Hang Seng index fell 663.71 points, or 3.03 percent, to close at 21,208.3 points on Monday.
The benchmark Hang Seng index opened down 0.84 percent on Monday morning and the losses extended, tracking declines of mainland markets.
The index once slumped 711 points, or 3.25 percent in the afternoon. The tech index tumbled 231.71 points, or 5.24 percent.
