SHANGHAI – Hong Kong shares ended unchanged on Tuesday.
The Hang Seng Index closed flat at 21,067.99, after slumping as much as 1.7 percent, while the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index lost 0.1 percent, to 7,333.61 points.
Tech gaints listed in Hong Kong edged down 0.1 percent, with index heavyweights Alibaba Group down 2.5 percent while Meituan was up 3.3 percent.
BOC Hong Kong Holdings led gains in local banks, rising 4.8 percent to become the biggest percentage gainer in the Hang Seng index.
