HONG KONG – Chief Secretary for Administration John Lee Ka-chiu will lead representatives of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to attend a meeting on the anti-epidemic work of the mainland and Hong Kong on Sunday, the SAR’s government said.

Lee has arrived in Shenzhen after attending the 2021 Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Co-operation Chief Executive Joint Conference in Chengdu, Sichuan province on Friday, the government said.

HKSAR representatives who will attend Sundays’ meeting include Secretary for Food and Health Sophia Chan Siu-chee, Secretary for Innovation and Technology Alfred Sit Wing-hang, Stanley Ho Professor of Respiratory Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong David Hui Shu-cheong, as well as representatives of the Department of Health and the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer. 

Lee will return to Hong Kong after the meeting. While Lee is not in Hong Kong, Secretary for the Environment Wong Kam-sing has been acting as the Acting Chief Secretary for Administration.
