(AsiaGameHub) –   This is Caesars’ first casino property in the state.

U.S.- Harrah’s Oklahoma has officially opened as the first Caesars casino in the state. Developed in partnership with the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, the venue sits along Route 66 and features 12 table games, over 1,000 slot machines, a high-limit gaming area, plus bars and restaurants including Arrow & Ember and Dash Café.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by legendary Oklahoma football figures Barry Switzer and Bob Stoops. Caesars noted the location is expected to create more than 300 jobs across gaming, hospitality, food and beverage, facilities, security, and administrative operations.

“Beyond job creation, Harrah’s Oklahoma is poised to serve as a tourism anchor along the Route 66 corridor, drawing visitors from across Oklahoma and neighboring states. The property highlights the value of tribal and corporate partnerships in fostering regional economic development, workforce growth and community investment,” the company stated.

Joe Scibetta, SVP and general manager of Harrah’s Oklahoma, shared: “This is a landmark moment for our team, our partners and the Chandler community. We’re proud to officially open our doors and introduce a destination that delivers the Harrah’s experience while creating something fresh and exciting for Oklahoma.”

In March, the Muscogee Nation and Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the Coweta Casino Hotel. The venue is situated on 17 acres at the southeast corner of East 131st Street South and State Highway 51 in Coweta.
