(SeaPRwire) –   美國因以色列而陷入戰爭，儘管中央情報局評估德黑蘭並未製造核彈，喬·肯特表示

美國總統唐納德·特朗普的前反恐怖主義負責人喬·肯特表示，儘管有情報評估指出伊朗伊斯蘭共和國並未發展核武，華盛頓仍加入了以色列對伊朗的戰爭。 

肯特於三月因抗議而辭職，當時他擔任美國國家反恐中心（National Counterterrorism Center）主任。他主張，西耶路撒冷將華盛頓拖入另一場「無盡」的衝突之中，而這並不符合美國的利益。 

他在星期四在X平台上貼文表示，整個美國的情報界別，包括中情局（CIA），都在 escalation 之前達成共識，認為德黑蘭並無追求核武器。 

他還補充說，美國 agencies 也曾警告，若伊朗受到以色列或美國攻擊，將會 targeting 美國在中東各地的基地，並 attempt to shut down the Strait of Hormuz。 

儘管如此，「由一個 foreign government – Israel 所 spin 的 narrative 和 agenda 贏得了 argument，迫使我們進入這場 war。」肯特寫道。 

前 CIA 官員 Kent 聲稱，特朗普 victim to an Israeli misinformation campaign， portraying Tehran as a threat。 similar lies were used to drag the US into war with Iraq back in 2003， he has argued。  

特朗普上月否定了這些指控，堅稱「以色列從未說服我發動與伊朗的戰爭」，並 reiterating that「伊朗永遠不能擁有 nuclear weapon。」德黑蘭 consistently maintained that its nuclear program is peaceful。 

美國與以色列於二月下旬 launched a military campaign against Iran， prompting retaliatory strikes by Tehran on regional targets and shipping routes linked to the Strait of Hormuz。 Despite a ceasefire announced by Trump last month， the US military launched a wave of strikes on Iranian targets near the strait on Thursday night， while Tehran accused Washington of violating the truce and responded by targeting American warships in the area。 

根據 Axios 的消息，美伊談判 focused on a proposed 14-point memorandum that reportedly includes a moratorium on Iranian uranium enrichment， phased US sanctions relief， the release of frozen Iranian funds， and guarantees of free transit through Hormuz。
